My recommendation is to clone your existing profile. We cannot automate this due to a bug in Jamf that prevents API actions on System Extensions profiles from working properly.
Since the scope of the new application is different to the old one, in addition to setting scope to the policies you also need to make changes to your System Extensions profile which prevents a popup on installation. System Extension profileĪlthough we remove the Cisco network extension ("socket filter") immediately after installation, users will still see a prompt to allow it, unless a profile enforcing it to be allowed is deployed to the computers in advance.
So, you don't need to do anything to remove it. When Cisco Secure Client is installed, it automatically replaces any older version of Cisco An圜onnect.
